The weights are not merely levels of opacity but rather each weight is built on a unique brush tip in combination with a number of settings which work together to emulate varying levels of pressure & speed & therefore the density of the paint. This first release of our Real Spray Paint Brush Set may already be the largest, most comprehensive, highest resolution & most realistic set available but this is just the beginning.Įach brush is provided in four progressive weights. We even used precious, mint condition “Big Wally” fatcaps that date back to the early 1970s and are known as the first widely used fatcaps discovered by graffiti art pioneers. In developing this set we dug into our private collection of rare caps from discontinued household products like “Spray N Wash”, various oven cleaners, shoe polishes and other classic sources that writers turnrd to before caps were available for purchase. We’ve provided five categories of caps: Fatcaps, Outline Caps, Calligraphy Caps, Standard Caps & Spatter & strived to accurately emulate a number of real caps like NY Fats, NY Outlines (Phantoms), German Fatcaps, Rusto Fatcaps, German Outlines, Blue Dots, Krylon Standards, Rusto Standards & more. The brushes have nearly 3x the resolution of most other brushes & can be used up to a 2000px width. We built this set with a focus on realism & wide usability. We selected an optimal array of both obscure caps like the classic "Big Wally" fat cap and indespensible staples like New York Fats & Pantoms, German Outlines & more & used real spray paint specimens to develop these advanced digital brushes. This array of 100 high resolution, real spray paint brushes for Photoshop, Procreate & GIMP was crafted from a combination of digital renderings & sample specimens from real caps.
